Inside Application / Customer Engineer

Position Description:
Major aerospace manufacturing company is seeking degreed engineer to be groomed for Application / Customer Engineer position. You will be responsible for major clients (Boeing, Airbus). Company is seeking individual with good communication skills and able to interface with marketing, engineering, & manufacturing departments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Generation of New Business.
Manage and interpret customer requirements-Speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their technical needs, program needs and administrative needs-Support proposal preparation.
Maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales cycle and enhancing existing business and customer accounts.
Timely flow of information to Outside Sales Representatives.
Prompt and accurate entry of quotations and purchase orders.
Maintain the integrity of system data related to quotes, orders, reports, etc.
Supporting sales team effort in reaching month end sales goals.
Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
Provide timely communication to management on critical matters affecting sales goals and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
College Graduate with Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering a plus.
Established work history that shows ability to accept responsibility and dependability.
Blue Prints- Ability to interrogate and understand drawing requirements.
Social Skills- Ability to develop and grow long-term relationships with customers.
Language Skills-Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly over the telephone. Ability to write business correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, prospective customers, and the general public.
Compensation:
$50,000 - $60,000 Estimated Annual Salary plus bonus
