Plant Human Resources Manager

Location:

Orange County, CA

Position Description:

  • Develops and implements human resources policies to meet organizational needs and comply with state and federal laws; Represents management in negotiating legal employment agreements; Successfully guides human resource representatives in handling employee complaints as well as advises and educates managers in addressing corrective action issues effecting their business unit(s).
  • Partner with senior management team to develop and maintain organizational development programs through succession planning, employee engagement, employee satisfaction, workforce diversity, retention, and performance management. Provides coaching to leaders and executives on personal and organizational growth.
  • Oversee Training department. Create, consolidate, and operate all company training and development activity. Department will operate as an organizational leader and internal consultant in the identification, development and implementation of technical and leadership training solutions, programs, processes, and initiatives.
  • Oversee Staffing function. Develop and coordinate recruiting processes per OFCCP guidelines. Partner with business managers in developing sourcing and selection strategies for position at all levels of company. Manage relationship and program development with college/vocational programs, and creative Internet recruiting methods critical to the success of the staffing function. Manage effective New Employee Orientation program.
  • Maintain HRIS, Intranet, and Pure Safety systems. Develop and maintain Affirmative action plans ensuring compliance with EEOC and OFCCP governmental regulations.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or 10 to 15 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Strong planning and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
  • Senior Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
  • OSHA Regulations & Worker's Compensation.
  • Compensation:

    $90,000 - $110,000 Estimated Annual Salary
