R & D Chemist

Position Description:
Responsible for projects related to new product and technology development, as well as product support. Responsibilities include product development/support, bench formulation, performance testing, raw material evaluation, regulatory compliance etc. Work with Sales and Marketing, Purchasing and other team members on defined project priorities and strategic development directions.
Requirements:
Bachelors in a scientific discipline with a minimum of three years experience in a chemical industry, preferably in adhesive, coating, polymer, rubber or plastics.
Hands on experience in laboratory bench formulation and physical properties testing work.
Advanced knowledge in adhesives, polymers and polymer characterization would be a plus.
Instrumentation skills in GCMS and FTIR helpful.
Compensation:
$60,000 - $75,000 Estimated Annual Salary
