Supply Planner

Position Description:
The Supply Planner position is a highly visible supply chain role that is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the balance of inventory across the supply chain network in line with levels of forecast accuracy, safety stock levels and target customer service levels for the allocated portfolio of SKU's for which he or she is accountable. This person is the key liaison to resolve supply issues and ensures the efficient delivery of inventory, service and cost objectives. This role will identify ways to improve supply planning processes by utilizing current technology tools, in addition, will support Sales and Marketing Teams to ensure communication and data is accurate and prompt on all innovation products.
Requirements:
5 years of Supply Planning.
MBA or advanced degree; Six Sigma / APICS certification (CPIM) preferred.
Strong Excel skills preferred; development of analytical models in Excel or other spreadsheet software.
Knowledge of integrated planning software is preferred.
Experience with various ERP systems within a production environment.
Excellent communication and Team building skills.
Strong customer orientation.
Candidate must possess very strong analytical skills, detailed oriented and extremely accurate.
Ability to deal with complexity and manage ambiguity.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory.
Able to lead, persuade, teach, guide and manage a team through change / continuous improvement.
Compensation:
$75,000 - $90,000 Estimated Annual Salary
